BOBST EXPANDS COMPANY INTO WEST AFRICA

Lagos – Nigeria -20th September 2016 BOBST has broadcast that it will open an office in Lagos, Nigeria to enhance the support provided to customers in West and Central Africa. The formal launch of the new office took place at a cocktail dinner Party held at the EKO HOTESLS & SUITES, Victoria Island – Lagos.

Samir Khoudja, BOBST’s Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa, said, “West Africa, and Nigeria in particular, is a very dynamic market. By opening an office in Lagos, the city with the biggest population in the most populous country in Africa, we will be closer to our customers and able to provide them with an even higher standard of service. Establishing this presence in Lagos is a significant step for BOBST and we expect that it will lead to further expansion in the region.”

The announcement was made at a cocktail dinner reception held on the 20th September at EKO HOTESLS & SUITES, Victoria Island, Lagos. Around fifty VIP guests, including the Brand owners, Chairman, Presidents/CEOs, COO and Managing Directors of many packaging Converters, labels Producers and FMCG companies, members of Diplomatic corps,  the Consul General of Switzerland in Lagos; Yves Nicolet, Head of Netherlands Representation in Lagos /Deputy head of Mission Abuja; Michel L. H. Deelen, Nigerian government officials and the print and electronic media, attended the event at the EKO Hotel & Suites.
