Set to run from 25 to 28 October, the fair will welcome 1,150 participants from 40 countries, as well as 58,000 visitors from 95 nations.

Turkey’s leading packaging companies, which are bullish about increasing their share in global markets and opening up to new countries, are counting down the days to the 23rd edition of Eurasia Packaging Fair, organized by REED TÜYAP Fairs and empowered by the Packaging Manufacturers Association (ASD) and supported by the Turkish Packaging Machine Producers Association (AMD), Labeling Manufacturers Association (ESD), Cardboard Packaging Manufacturers Association (KASAD), Metal Packaging Manufacturers Association (MASD), Corrugated Board Manufacturers Association (OMÜD) and Rigid Plastic Packaging Manufacturers Association (SEPA), will continue to be the premier regional gathering for solutions and investments for food and non-food sectors.
Sector professionals launch countdown for 2017 edition
The fair, which will bring together all of the packaging sector’s shareholders in a massive 110.000 sqm indoor space, is aiming to attract visitors from 95 countries, including Algeria, Azerbaijan, Britain, Bulgaria, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Lebanon, Libya, Macedonia, Morocco, Nigeria, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Tunisia, for this year’s edition. At the same time, Morocco and Nigeria will be the countries of honor at the 2017 fair as part of the event’s continued overseas activities. In addition to Moroccan and Nigerian sector professionals, the fair is expected to welcome purchasing delegations from the Balkans, Middle East, Africa and the Caucasus. Together with marketing activities in Europe, the number of European visitors is also set to rise.
Eurasia Packaging Fair continuing to grow with special sections
Printpack Packaging Printing Technologies Corrugated Board – Paper – Cardboard Packaging Production Technologies Special Section, which was established to increase the importance of printing in packaging and to ensure that outstanding investments better addressed the needs of consumers, has been turning heads as the most important platform bringing together participants and visitors within the scope of the fair. At the same time, anticipation is building for the Drinktech Eurasia Special Drink and Liquid Food Technologies Section among participants and visitors. As part of Drinktech Eurasia, participants will enjoy the opportunity to meet with target visitors from the beverage and liquid food sectors, particularly beverage and liquid food, filling, drinks, packaging, sterilization, as well as beverage machine and equipment producers.
But Eurasia Packaging Fair won’t be the only attraction at the fair ground come fall, as Food-Tech Eurasia International Food and Beverage Technologies Fair will run simultaneously, while Sweettech Chocolate, Confectionery, Biscuits, Dried Fruits – Nuts and Pastry Technologies Machine and Equipment special section; Dairytech Milk and Dairy Product Technologies special section; and Cold Chain Storage System, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Logistics special section are all expected to draw a significant number of visitors. Food Safety Special Hygiene and Quality Control Technologies Special Section, which will be held for the first time in 2017, is also the subject of growing anticipation.
